"A Zakarpattian Cypher" is the first work I created as a choreographer and film director for Ukrainian Shumka Dancers’ 2022 Emerging Artist project.
It was my first dance film and first Ukrainian dance piece I had ever choreographed. It premiered as a live dance piece, on-stage at the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre in Camrose.
